The Cyber Security Summit 2022 has taken place

Thank you to those who attended, 2023 dates will be announced soon

Bringing together the latest innovations and thought leaders in cyber security from across the entire UK public sector

Protecting the UK public sector against an ever-growing threat landscape

In 2020 the Information Commissioner’s office reported that more than 700 data breaches occurred across UK local councils. In the same year, the National Cyber Security Centre also reported handling 723 attacks that affected more than 1,200 victims. This rise indicates that numbers are growing as organisations significantly changed their ways of working, including a huge increase in remote working.

The Cyber Security Summit 2022 brought together the latest innovations and thought leaders from across the public and private sectors, to demonstrate and discuss the best strategies, technologies and best practices to help define the future of cyber security and data protection.

Content themes include:

  • Restructuring risk and security governance
  • Developing cyber skills and talent to improve awareness and change behaviour
  • Best practice for effective third-party risk management
  • Faster recovery at the event of an attack
  • The importance of cloud security
