Jason Corbishley

Jason is an experienced Chief Technology Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the law enforcement industry.

He is an information technology security professional who graduated with distinction from Lancaster University in 2018. Jason was the Head of ICT at Cumbria Constabulary between 2012 and January 2017, and became the Chief Technology Officer for the National Enabling Programmes, supporting the delivery of the NPCC Policing Vision and the National Policing Digital and Data Strategy.

With more than 19 years in IT, more than 13 of which have been in policing, Jason is highly experienced in managing IT operations as well as ICT transformation. Working in Cumbria Constabulary since 2006 and in the role of Head of ICT since 2012, Jason has managed internal resources and external suppliers to provide a resilient and reliable ICT platform to support modern policing.

Jason joined the Police Digital Service in 2021 as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and is responsible for developing and implementing an IT security strategy which will underpin the National Policing Digital Strategy whilst protecting the law enforcement community from security threats and cyber-hacking. As CISO he co-ordinates and informs all areas of information assurance, cyber activity and policy across the law enforcement community.
