Since April 2000, WiredGov has been the news alert channel of choice for UK government and public sector senior management, policy makers and officials, delivering official ‘must have’ news directly to their inbox, personally filtered by Department and keyword, precisely when they need it.
The free of charge service was born out of an explicit Cabinet Office requirement for more efficient and timely dissemination and delivery of government news direct to the desktops of the Government Secure Intranet community and wider public sector.
We provide registered users with up-to-the minute newsfeeds and announcements from over 150 government and public sector departments and agencies. Our independent status enables us to deliver numerous feeds that are not and will never be available on GOV.UK, for example Scottish Government, Welsh Government, Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), National Audit Office and EU news to name but a few!
