Keynote Presentation: Progress towards the Government's Cyber Security Strategy will be driven by an understanding of risk

This means identifying areas of particular risk and prioritising the most impactful interventions to ensure that government can rapidly improve its cyber resilience. The Tanium session will focus on the first of the 5 objectives which support the strategy; manage cyber security risk. In order to manage cyber security risk, government organisations need to be able to identify, assess and understand them and articulate the risk to the board. The foundation of this lies in the visibility and understanding of assets, their vulnerabilities, and the threat to them – whether internal to an organisation or emanating from its supply chain.
